If your resume is not generating interviews, our CMRS team will re-write your resume…using new words and new strategies (without any additional fee). If that new resume is not effective, our team will continue to assist you until you are successful in gaining interviews. It is understood and agreed that at no time (or under any circumstance) will the client be eligible for a refund.
We are on your side…and fully committed to your success. There is no fixed number of interviews that you will receive. You will receive interviews.
This guarantee has a few simple rules: You must send your resume to employers. If you don’t send out your resume, no employer can read it, review it or act upon it. If you don’t send out your resume, your Performance Guarantee is voided.
Recommended: Customizing your Resume – Each time you forward a resume and letter, make it specific to the job you are applying for by changing the job objective to match the title of the job you are applying for…before you submit your resume and cover letter.
Always send your cover letter with your resume.
Set yourself a goal to distribute 5 or 10 or 15 resumes and cover letters on a daily or weekly basis. Goal setting is important. Job search is a numbers game. The more resumes and cover letters you distribute, the more interviews you will receive. When possible, you must follow-up with the employer (telephone or email) within several days of submission.
When possible with an Internet-submitted resume, you should try to send a second paper resume and cover letter via US Postal Service as a back-up. When possible, do an additional follow-up via email.
BE REALISTIC. ARE THERE JOBS AVAILABLE IN MY SPECIALTY…IN THE AREA I AM JOB-SEARCHING IN? SHOULD I RELOCATE TO A MORE ‘FERTILE’ AREA? WILL I HAVE TO CONSIDER CHANGING CAREERS BASED ON A DYING TECHNOLOGY? AM I DISTRIBUTING ENOUGH OF MY RESUMES AND LETTERS TO GET A GOOD AND TRUE RESPONSE?
Resume and Cover Letter Updates: The Performance Guarantee is not to be confused with resume and cover letter up-dating. Regardless of the success of your career and your job search, our team charges additional fees for future up-dating or upgrading of our resumes and cover letters.
NOT GUARANTEE ELIGIBLE: (1.) Hybrid / blended resumes – i.e. part-client written and part-CMRS written, (2.) Resumes written solely by the client that CMRS only formats and grammar / spell-checks, (3.) Resumes that are not accompanied with a cover letter and (4.) “single use” resumes for a unique internal promotion situation or other single purpose application.
Finally, CMRS does not guarantee a new job. WE GUARANTEE INTERVIEWS, AS LONG AS THE CLIENT CONFORMS TO THE LIMITED RULES SHOWN ABOVE.
